Biblical Truth. Christ-Centered Faith.
Our beliefs are rooted in the Word of God and centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Our beliefs are rooted in the Word of God and centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the very Word of God, inspired by God and preserved for us. It is inerrant, authoritative, and our sole rule of faith and practice in all matters it addresses. For reasons of textual credibility, we believe God has graciously preserved His Word for English-speaking people in the King James Version of the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
We believe there is one true God who exists eternally. He is holy, righteous, and sovereign, and He alone is worthy of worship.
We believe that Jesus Christ is eternally existent with the Father and is the only begotten Son of God. He became man through the virgin birth, lived a sinless life, and is both 100% God and 100% man. Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and resurrection, fallen man may be redeemed. All who turn from sin and place their faith in Him will be saved. (Luke 1:30–55; John 1:1–15; Philippians 2:5–8)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died as a substitutionary payment for the sins of the whole world. He physically arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. Any person who places their trust by faith in this sacrifice can be saved. This is the only way to reconcile sinful man with a holy God and receive eternal life. (Luke 24; John 3:16; Acts 1:9–11; Romans 5:8–10; 1 Peter 3:18)
We believe the church should be self-governing, with Christ as its head. Every believer has equal access to God personally and does not require a human mediator. Each person is individually responsible for accepting Christ and following Him in obedience, including believer’s baptism by immersion and faithful church membership.
As an Independent Baptist Church, we are not affiliated with any association. We are autonomous (Self-Governing) and Indigenous, deeply rooted in the community of Christian Biblical beliefs. This concept includes the right to govern our affairs locally.
